It’s called the Tag a Chommie Challenge, and it’s a first-of-its-kind pass-it-on competition made for the South African bubble tea fam.

🎯 What is the Tag a Chommie Challenge?

Think of it like a flavourful game of content relay. One person starts the challenge, creates a fun post, and tags a friend. That friend gets a FREE BOBBA kit, makes their own post, tags the next chommie… and on it goes!

Each team is made up of 5 people. You’re racing not just to finish the chain — but to create the most viral, creative, and chommie-worthy content.

🧋How Does It Work?

1. Sign up on our website — it’s 100% free

2. We randomly choose 3 Team Captains

3. Each Captain gets a mystery BOBBA kit + team name (Team Taro, Team Matcha, or Team Milk Tea)

4. Post a video or photo on Instagram

   • Tag @bobba.sa

   • Use the hashtags #TagAChommie and #TheGreatSouthAfricanBobaRace

   • Tag one chommie to pass it on

5. We’ll DM your tagged friend, send them a kit, and the race continues!

💡 What Can You Post?

Unboxing videos, wild drink creations, tutorials, dances, skits, cosplay, comedy — anything goes as long as it includes the BOBBA box and your creativity.

Every post earns points based on this formula:

(Likes × 2) + (Comments × 3) + (Shares × 4) + (Saves × 4)

💡 Pro Tip: Don’t take too long — each person has about 12 days on average. If you drag your feet, your team loses time!

✅ Who Can Enter?

You must:

• Be 18 or older (or have your guardian accept the prize for you)

• Live in South Africa 🇿🇦

• Have made any purchase from our website in 2025 (no minimum spend)

• Use a public Instagram account

• We only check tags and DMs Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

• We’ll contact each tagged chommie during business hours

• If someone doesn’t tag their next chommie, the chain ends

• Only completed team chains count for the team prizes
