EASY MILKY BUBBLE TEA RECIPE USING THIS BUBBLE TEA KIT
Add 3 or 4 tbsp (+-35g) flavoured powder to 150ml of hot water and stir until smooth. Add 1 scoop cooked tapioca pearls and 300g of ice to finish. Add creamer or milk for a smoother, thicker blend.
WHAT IS TAPIOCA?
Tapioca is a starch derived from cassava tubers (roots) which are common to much of South and Central America. It contains no animal products and is 100% vegan.

Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese drink which came about in the 1980’s and is gradually taking the world by storm. There are many varieties of bubble tea (some bubble tea’s do not contain any tea at all now) but traditionally it was a sweet milky tea shaken over ice and poured over black tapioca pearls (a chewy edible treat) similar to this Bubble Tea Kit. Interestingly, bubble tea gets its name from the froth which is formed when the milky tea was shaken with ice.
