Derived from the Butterfly Pea Flower (Clitoria ternatea), which has been used as an all-natural dye for centuries, Butterfly Pea Powder is now being used by bartenders, chefs and foodies around the world to make award winning dishes and drinks.
One of its most distinctive characteristics is that the all-natural colour will change with the pH balance (adding lemon juice for instance) from itโs signature dark blue to a magenta making it a true culinary chameleon.
Use butterfly pea powders bold colours and subtle sweet floral notes to make lemonades, smoothies, chia pudding, hot foods (like pasta and bread), ice cream and so much more!
