MILK BUBBLE TEA
INGREDIENTS:
- Tea (Black/ Green/ Rooibos)
- Preferably warm/ hot tea to help dissolve the Milk Tea Powder
- Milk Tea Powder
- Milk or Cream
- Sugar (optional)
- Tapioca Pearls
- Ice
Method:
- Brew Tea
- Cook Tapioca Pearls (1 part tapioca to 8 parts boiling water, boil for 40 minutes, cover and let it sit for 15 minutes. Strain and rinse cooked tapioca with cold water. Sprinkle with sugar)
- Add 75g Milk Tea Powder and sugar (to taste) to 100ml of brewed tea and stir until dissolved
- Add 1-2 table spoons of cooked tapioca (if you use more, we won’t judge!) to a 500ml glass/ mason jar
- Pour your milky tea creation over the cooked Tapioca Pearls
- Fill the glass/ jar with ice
- Top with milk or cream
- Stir
- Enjoy!
Hints & Tips
- You may substitute the brewed tea with hot water for a simpler variation
